Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2026
Lacey's Flash Games Wiki is a fan-made, community-maintained website. This Privacy Policy explains, in plain language, what limited data the site collects and how it is used. We try to keep collection minimal because the site is a static wiki: there are no user accounts, no comments system and no personal data you are asked to hand over.
Information We Collect
We keep data collection minimal. As a static wiki we do not require accounts, so we never see your name, email address or other identifying information about you.
- •Automated data: your browser type, device type, approximate region, pages visited and referral links, collected in aggregate by our analytics and hosting tools.
- •Cookies and local storage: used to remember your theme and language preferences and to count visits in aggregate. No advertising cookies are set for personalized tracking on this site.
- •We do not collect names, email addresses or any personally identifying information, because the site has no accounts or sign-in flow.
How We Use Information
We use the limited data we collect for three purposes: understanding which guides are most useful, remembering your display preferences, and keeping the site fast and reliable.
- •Analytics: aggregated statistics about page views and traffic sources help us decide which wiki sections need more coverage.
- •Performance: error logs help us fix broken pages and keep the site loading quickly for everyone.
- •Preferences: your stored theme and language choices are kept only in your own browser.
Third-Party Services
We use a small number of third-party services to host the site, measure traffic and display the video and advertising content on our pages.
- •Google Analytics: aggregated traffic statistics. Google's privacy policy governs how it processes this data.
- •Advertisements: banner ads on some pages are served by third-party ad networks that may use cookies or local storage for measurement and fraud prevention.
- •Steam: any buttons that open the Steam store page or community discussions leave our site and open Steam's own platform.
Children's Privacy
The wiki is a general audience site. Because we collect no personal accounts or contact information, we do not knowingly collect personal data from children either.
Your Rights
Because we do not hold personal accounts, there is little personal data tied to you on our servers. Most of what the site knows about you lives in your own browser.
- •You can opt out of analytics cookies through your browser or device settings, or by using browser extensions that block analytics scripts.
- •You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking storage will not break the wiki, though preferences may stop being remembered.
- •To ask questions about this policy, contact the maintainers through the community channels linked on the site.
Data Security
The site is served over HTTPS and hosted on Cloudflare's edge network. Static pages contain no user-generated content storage, which keeps the attack surface small.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the site evolves. Changes will be reflected on this page, and the revision date above will be updated.
